Women using HRT are frequently referred for pelvic ultrasound, yet interpretation of the endometrium can be challenging due to the wide range of treatment regimes and evolving guidance.
As treatment and guidelines change, sonographers need to remain confident in interpretating and reporting the endometrium given the clinical context. Small differences in interpretation and reporting can have a significant impact on the management and referral pathway.
